Nottawasaga OPP charged a local man with impaired driving following an investigation on the weekend in Essa Township.
Shortly after 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, police say an officer conducting traffic enforcement on Brentwood Road saw a vehicle travelling at a low speed with no rear lights on.
Police stopped the vehicle and began an investigation.
Johnathan McCann, 49, from Angus, has been charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80 plus), operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
