OPP seized fentanyl, cash, two pellet guns, and 'paraphernalia related to drug trafficking,' from a Wasaga residence.

Provincial police have arrested and charged three people suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl in the Wasaga Beach and Collingwood area.

According to a news release from Huronia West OPP, complaints centred around a Wasaga Beach address prompted a drug-trafficking investigation and led to the arrest of the three people.

"After several weeks of investigating, (the Community Street Crime Unit was) able to form grounds and identify the occupants of the residence suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl," states the news release.

The news release is scant on details and does not identify the three people, who were arrested at the Wasaga address on Nov. 20.

During the raid, police say investigators seized fentanyl, cash, two pellet guns and "paraphernalia related to drug trafficking."

The three people who were arrested now face charges for possession of cocaine and fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking. All have been released and are due in court later.
