Read an article that suggested that the computer guys who sat behind Trump when he was sworn in i) have tons of money to play with ii) contributed heavily to his campaign and have been whispering in his ear about which way to move iii) when the western and US economies tank they will be able to step in divide the US and become money-grabbing caretakers to rebuild the economy and basic services. It may sound far fetched but then they also spent over 12 million to get Vance elected as a senator and chosen as Trump's VP.

Why does everyone including University grads in the US believe his false autobiography of being a smart successful business man when his casinos went bankrupt and he talked about airports that supposedly existed in the USA during the 1770s war of independence with Britain and during the 1860s Civil war. And how many of his 'name branded' products or services are still in business.

I was shopping at a grocery store in Orillia yesterday and guess what; they had a wide selection of both American wines and beer (not the 0% stuff) on sale. Did their home offfice not get the memo or their stock of red flag labels to put on Canadian products

Canadian politicians over time have found it beneficial to have a cozy relationship with the US. In doing so, we have let essential producers and manufactureres ship thier businesses offshore just like the US did. In our feeble efforts to save the planet we recently decided not to sell our oil, gas, and natural minerals to friendly countries. And then along comes hurricane TRUMP who is ready to turn world economies upside down. Today we see our shortfalls just trying to keep our pantries full without buying US goods.

But come this Easter, there will be a shortage of eggs for Emperor Trump's breakfast or the White House Easter Egg Hunt

You don't have to invade a country to take control of it. The ports on both ends of the Panama Canal are owned by Chinese companies which Trump wants a US company to take over. In Canada there are foreign owned properties where Canadian officials cannot gain any access. Far too many of our residential rental properties are foreign owned and we cannot get them to follow our laws or rules.

Ford seems to have difficulty operating within current rules and laws. His failure to attend the hearings around the truckers boycott and use of the not-withstanding clause to try and get his way suggest that he may be more comfortable governing a state rather than a province.

Trump and Vance are both acting like malicious children either knowingly or otherwise for the benefit of Putin to destroy NATO, the western economy, and the USA. By installing loyal yet inexperienced folks in key positions, Trump might want to micro-manage the whole country to dance to his tune: however, with Elon's firing rampage who will be left to do the heavy lifting.

I recently saw an ad for 'freezer orders' of local meat products - a service that seemed to fade away from our shopping options. Buying local meats vegetable and fruits is great except far too often their prices are more expensive than the local family owned grocery store found in smaller communities where the chains have not set up shop.
