Driver with child in vehicle blows over 3 times the legal limit: OPP

An Uxbridge woman who had a child in the vehicle with her has been charged with impaired driving after a crash Friday evening in Severn Township.

The OPP says a breath test determined the female driver had more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in her system. 

Around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, Orillia OPP officers, along with Simcoe County paramedics and Seven firefighters, were called to a collision on Coopers Falls Road where a vehicle had left the roadway and entered the ditch. 

Police say there were two people in the vehicle when officers arrived, including an 11-year-old child.

No injuries were reported. 

A 43-year-old Uxbridge woman has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired (80 plus).
