Ford is going to call an early election because he needs a mandate to fight tariffs, he has a majority he has a mandate to do whatever he wants. Why would he need a mandate to fight a Trump tariff; I should think it is the responsibility of his current job. Every time I think the guy is doing a pretty good job he gets caught lying about something, I will never touch the green space, we need to make a new Science Centre at Ontario Place, I need a mandate to fight Tariffs. How can I respect myself if I vote for someone without honour.

I too was starting to feel like Premier Doug was starting to do a better job but then he started the ‘For the People’ stuff. It’s all about him keeping his job. I thought I was going to have to hold my nose in order to vote Liberal but it’s getting easier. The Premier can’t be trusted.

Once again guys there are more than two parties :) Stop the seesaw. Do you seriously think Crombie is going to do any better?

Doug Ford is all about Toronto and Toronto will keep him in office because they get what they want, although he’s ticked off people regarding Green Belt and Ontario Place this term, he could lose his majority! I like the NDP leader Merit Stiles and I’d love to see Lisa win because she’s a good person! Ford needs to go, he’s gotten to comfortable!

So soon we forget when Harper was in power we did not have people starving in the streets like under the liberals and NDP.

different time , different era , Prime Minister Harper's legacy is selling us out to China ; locked into the terms of FIPA for a minimum of 31 years.

I worked in Crisis and MH and Addictions. There were people on the streets starving then too. It's always been there but the opioid addictions are making it worse and housing costs. Once someone lands on the streets for whatever reason, after awhile many fall into the addictions as a coping mechanism and then the cycle continues.

Very fortunately no cancer diagnosis in our immediate household but, we are aware of close friends that have problems with cancer so it is something that unfortunately is close to us!

Had a brain tumour in 2016. At that time, the health care system worked well for me. Since then, we have more hallway medicine, and longer wait-times. But at least we can buy alcohol in convenience stores and gas stations.

Me in 2021. Undetected by former GP discovered completely by accident by a surgeon for a separate matter. I was lucky it was still determined as 'early stage' even with local lymph node spread but still had to endure a years' worth of various stages of treatments then put on a medication to block the hormone trigger that caused it. Just past 2 years of every 3 months screenings, 3 more to go. Still here I remain grateful to ADCP in The Soo & NCC in Sudbury, & especially the surgeon who arranged to get me looked after.

My mother had cancer and suffered due to the poison they pumped into her for 5 years. The healthcare in this country is useless . When you see this in our country it seems only the rich get the care they can afford and the rest of us get poisoned by Doctors that have no professional training.

Doctors do have professional training, very expensive training. Maybe you did not understand the severity of your loved ones condition. I have had a daughter survive cancer at age 21, my sister also had cancer at age 58. Mind you cancer did a number on her head and she attempted suicide. With care and long term therapy, she has survived. However, I am grieving my best friend's death from cancer that was no cure for. Worked hard all these years and didn't make it for her first pension cheque. Doctors try, but they are not miracle workers.

My mother and my sister both had PC. It's also very rampant on my father's side. My brother had cancer of the esophagus that had already spread before he was diagnosed. :(

My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer last month and passed away yesterday at age 65.
